COMPETITION RULES

 The Karaoke Contestants perform on stage with a live band, each trying to earn the audience votes and impress the judges. The Winners get cash prizes donated to their nonprofit. Ventura County Nonprofits with 501c3 status are eligible to apply. Conejo Senior Volunteer Program Advisory Council will review all applications and choose 20 nonprofits.

VIRTUAL VOTING CONTEST : Anyone, Anywhere can watch the Livestream and vote for their favorite contestant for $5 per vote and vote unlimited times. Tax deductible and voting proceeds are split between all participating Nonprofits.

LIVE AUDIENCE VOTING CONTEST: The Live Audience votes for their pick for Best Performance. Only people attending the event can vote in this contest. ONE VOTE per person. The competition will be fierce! Come to the show and vote.

BEST PERFORMANCE: The TOP FIVE contestants who have the best performances will each win $1,000 (or more) for their nonprofit. The winners will be chosen by a group of three judges who are former contestants. Performance judged on: Karaoke singing, dancing, entertaining, costume and overall performance.  (Contestants will not be judged on having or not having a professional singing voice) This is NOT a singing contest, it is a performance contest.
